VUTRAX SOFTWARE ADVICE NOTICE 220 (26 Apr 2019)

Electra Autorouter (5.01 onward) not importing any Routing into the Vutrax artwork

If you download or upgrade to an issue of the Konect Electra Autorouter issue 5.01 or higher you are likely to see no routing when you import the changes back into VUTRAX. Pads assocated with the routing may also disappear.

IF AND ONLY IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM the following patch should rectify it, but will cause output from older versions of the router to similarly malfunction.
If you apply this change to a working version then it will become broken and you will need to re-install the module.

The fix is to apply the following patch to the executable in your Vutrax folder

     ...\WIN32\SPCTOVTX.EXE

Prepare a file SAN220.ASC containing

       4E 65 74 00 ;
    6E  ?  ?  ?

Use this file along with the instructions in SAN 197 and the options

         -L2  -H2     (to require exactly 2 changes)

The program should report two changes.

After the patch you need only re-run the [Spectra to Vtx] task again to obtain the routed artwork.
